Father's Day Feet

For Dana's father's day present, we put Bailey's footprints on a shirt. I never thought that it would be a HUGE challenge and an even bigger mess. My mom and I started by trying to get hand prints, but bailey just grabbed everything and got paint everywhere. Feet were slightly easier, but just slightly!

After a big family lunch of steaks, baked potatoes and sweet corn, Bailey and Dana watched the golf tournament... and got a little nap.

Horse Tracks

In 4.5 months of life, Bailey has been to 3 horse tracks. She is becoming an expert on horse racing! Her dad schools her on the basic while they watch racing on TV...she does like the bright colors and the motion. It is going to crush her someday when we tell her that she can't be a jockey when she grows up. Churchill Downs - The twin spires- one of the most beautiful tracks ever.

Ty, Jana, Bailey, Dana and I went last weekend to see the ponies. It was a great day with just enough cloud cover to keep us cool.

We did it!!!

We did it!!!!! Bailey is 12 pounds and 1 ounce! It took us 20 weeks, 140 sleepless nights and millions of prayers, hugs and kisses, but we did it! We now have an easy surgery scheduled for July 15th at 7:00am. We still continue to pray that she gets fatter. Thank you all for your prayers!

Vacation to New Mexico

We went down to Aztec, New Mexico last week. We left Thursday morning and drove 5 hours to Pagosa Springs where we stayed at the Spa... it had an amazing hot springs mineral pool. We swam twice on Thursday and once Friday morning before we left town. The warm mineral water made Bailey sleep GREAT...so great that she even fell asleep in the pool.

Friday morning after our swim we drove the last 3 hours down to my uncle's house in Aztec. We spent the weekend relaxing on his porch, complete with 2 porch swings, drinking iced tea and eating wonderful food. It was a great weekend!!! Blue's Brothers
