Dana's sister, Aunt Rene, sent Bailey the cutest horse costume. She bought it at Keenland Horse track in Lexington, Kentucky. (Keenland is the best track in the entire world if you ask Dana.)

Blizzard in October...
It started snowing Tuesday night and when we woke up Wednesday morning there was 16 inches of snow. Dana shoveled off the back deck as Bailey looked on. For Dana's birthday, he got a snow blower... It was the perfect gift and was finally put to the test. Dana loves "mowing the snow."

A second trip to the Pumpkin Patch...
We had so much fun the first time, we had to take Dana. Dana, DJ, Jessica (DJ's girlfriend), Bailey and I spent 3.5 hours there. We got lost in the corn maze. It is 6+mile of cut corn in the shape of a T-Rex. We all had so much fun in the corn!!!!Family Photo

Daddy and his baby girl. He had to hold her feet because we lost one of her socks some where in the maze. She couldn't even reach her feet with her hands but somehow managed to kick her sock off... She HATES having her feet covered!!!

Pumpkin Patch
Bailey's first trip the the Pumpkin Patch. She loved looking at all the sights...tractors, other kids and tons of bright orange pumpkins. It was like she was a little owl with her head spinning in all directions. Grandma, Grandpa, Grammy, Uncle Ty, Mommy and Bailey had a great time and brought home 5 pumpkins, 3 carmel apples and a pumpkin bread. Resting on the hay bales.

My new knit hat...
I finally finished knitting all the roses and leaves for Bailey's hat... I think it looks adorable...
Dana said " It looks like it came from the circus. Why is it covered in barnacles?"

View from the Las Vegas Suite
Dana upgraded rooms and got us a suite. It was on the 18th floor and overlooked the dancing fountains. It was the GREATEST!!! We flipped the couch so that you could just sit and stare at the fountains and the strip. Since Bailey was cranky for the majority of the trip, she and I watched the ever changing scenery a lot! Grandpa and Uncle Ty on the couch.
The fountains... Dana purposed to me in front of the fountains 3 years ago.
Big explosion of water.
The Strip and fountains at night.
It was a completely different kind of Vegas trip then what Dana and I were used too. Bailey is not really quite ready for Vegas. She was trying to get teeth and grouchy. Dana and I got dressed up on Tuesday night and saw the KA cirque du soleil show. It was magnificent. Dana worked hard in the booth and taking customers out.
Grandpa and Uncle Ty did a great job of watching Bailey and playing with us...even if they called her Carlos (from the movie "The Hangover"). They took her all over. She saw the lions at MGM, the pirates at TI and the giant M&M store. She got carried all over Vegas!
Over all it was a great trip!!!
Over all it was a great trip!!!
Las Vegas
Dana had to attend a convention in Las Vegas from October 11th - 15th. We were all lucky enough to go with him. Ty took Mom's spot since she couldn't travel after the heart surgery. We stayed at the Bellagio hotel. It was amazing, beautiful and decorated for fall and Halloween. In front of a talking tree... it confused Bailey.

"Let them eat cake..."
Uncle Ty shared his carrot cake with Bailey on Sunday. It was a great sight to watch. I haven't seen Ty laugh that hard in a long time. Bailey wasn't sure what to do so Ty put her hands in the cake and helped with the first few bites... then it was off to the races!!! She loves carrot cake!
In hindsight, it would have probably been better to do it at the kitchen table with a bib instead of the middle of the living room floor. Luckily Dana was out of town and didn't see the mess.
