Zoo Wild Lights

Monday night the weather was perfect to go to the zoo. It is turned into a magical winter wonderland. Bailey was fascinated by all the lights. Mimi loved watching Bailey and laughed at how she just takes everything in. DJ, Jessica and Danielle like running wild in the dark and all the hot cocoa. Dana, Ty and Mike looked at how everything was done and started planning on how to decorate our houses next year. Jill and Joyce were the mother hens trying to keep all 9 people together. It was a perfect night for the lights!!! Mimi, Daddy and the little snow bear, Bailey.

Saturday, Sunday and Monday...

Saturday we slept in and had an easy day... We went shopping at the mall, watched some basketball and then had the Red & White Company Christmas party. It was a joyous celebration that really made me proud to have such a great support system.

Sunday was a BAD day Danielle came down with the 24 hour flu. Lots of throwing-up and feeling horrible. ...Danielle and Dana spent the day napping, watching movies and doing anything possible to make her feel better... Bailey and I spent time at my parent's house visiting with Mimi who came to town to help us celebrate Bailey's first Christmas.

Dana's daughter Danielle came to town to spend part of her Christmas break with us and meet her new baby sister. We started off the festivities by going to the Brickyard for the best Bar-B-Que in all of Denver and the first Mammoth lacrosse home game. We had a group of ten for the night. It was a Christmas gift from our dear friend, Paula Reynolds, and Bailey got to open it early. We love it. She like to pet the fur because it is so soft. When she wears it, everyone smiles and laughs with her!

I left Bailey alone for less than 5 minutes... I came back and found her laying on the floor laughing while opening presents. She was having a great time shredding the paper and eating it. I had to laugh with her instead of stopping her.
