The Night Before Christmas...
Bailey's First Christmas Eve
After dinner of chili and soups at Grandma's house, we all went to church for the Christmas Pageant and laughs. Then it was back to Grandma and Grandpa's to open all the presents.
This is Bailey's excited face!
She wasn't quite sure of what to do but she quickly got the hang of ripping paper.
But she is still easily distracted.
She wasn't thrilled with more clothes.
Everyone was there to celebrate... Mommy, Daddy, Grammy, Uncle Ty, Aunt Jana, Mimi, Grandpa and Grandma... a full living room!

"What Child is This?"
What child is this, who, laid to rest
On Mary's lap, is sleeping?
Whom angels greet with anthems sweet,
While shepherds watch are keeping?
This, this is Christ the King,
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing:
Haste, haste to bring him laud,
The Babe, the Son of Mary!
Bailey had the honor of being asked to play the Baby Jesus in the children's Christmas pageant during the Christmas Eve service. She did really good for the first 7 minutes. She waved, blew kisses and just enjoyed being up with the kids.
Then she realized that nobody she knew was up there with her and started fussing.
So at our church, Mary and Joseph had their very own nanny to take care of Baby Jesus!
It was such a joyous celebration of our Savior's birth and an honor to be a part of it.
Merry Christmas!
There is a video of the entire performance, if any one is interested.
