Valentines Day at Preschool

I had the pleasure of spending the morning at preschool with Bailey.

It was the extra special Valentines day party.

First, we had to decorate bags to put our cards in.

Bailey's had a LOT of stickers!

 Next was decorating sugar cookies.

Notice the heaping mound of pink sugar on her cookie.

 Wiping the extra sugar off of her hands on to the cookie.

 The sensory area was a Jello table.  She wasn't quite sure what to think of it.

 Then it was time for the excitement to begin!

All 24 of her classmates put chairs in a circle with their decorated bag in front of them.

3 kids at a time walked around putting one valentine in each bag.

It was chaos!  The teachers kept telling me it was "an experience".

Then it was finally snack time.

the personally decorated cookies, a juice box, string cheese and fruit.

Bailey and her best friend MaKenna got to sit next to each other.

It was a great day to be at preschool!

Making Valentines

Paper whites part 2

The paper white bulbs are growing like crazy.

Bailey has really enjoyed watching them grow and bloom.

 The fragrance is really strong and makes the entire kitchen smell great.

 Bailey likes to stop and smell the flowers.

 The plant is well loved by everyone!

Look how tall it is! As big as half of Bailey!

A morning shave

We have the smoothest cheecks in town!

 I love how Molly's sunglasses are on upside down at 7:00 AM!

Winter?

It is so hard to believe it is winter!

65 and sunny so we spent an hour and a half at the park!

Slides, swings and running through the field!

A perfect afternoon!!!

Trike-A-Thon

Bailey's preschool held a Trike-a-thon to raise money for the school.

It was held at the local high school cafeteria.

Hundreds of little kids squeezed in a crowded gym!

Luke and Molly thought the bake sale table was the best part.

Bailey raised enough money to win second place - a gymnastics party for 12 kids!

Plus an ice cream party for her class!
