Helper

I now have a helper... she can take everything out of the laundry basket. She has to first crawl into the basket then all the clothes come out!!! After the basket was empty she couldn't figure out how to climb back out.

Measuring cups

Out of all the toys and baby things that Bailey has to play with, her new favorite is my metal measuring cups and spoons. They really make a lot of noise when you bang them.

Also they make a good snack when you get hungry from all the playing!!!

Dana had his birthday this weekend...

It was a great family celebration complete with ice-cream cake. Blowing out 3 candles!

He got a new snow blower so that he doesn't kill himself this winter.

Hanging Lake Hike

We spent the weekend in Glennwood Springs for Dana's birthday and a nice getaway! The trees were just starting to turn and the weather was perfect.

Harvest Parade

Last weekend we went to the Arvada Harvest Festival and Parade. It was Baily's first parade and she really seemed to like watching everything going on around her. The parade lasted 2 1/2 hours... Bailey and Grandma quit at the half way point to go take a nap in the car and warm up...Saturday's high was in the low 60's and really damp. It felt much colder. (Notice we all have hats and jackets on.)

I can climb stairs!!!

She figured out how to climb stairs this weekend...now the fun begins. the gates have gone up to keep her on the main floor of the house. She was so cute to watch climb! Hard to believe she isn't even 8 months old yet.

Motorcycle riding

Mike, Ty and Dana all have dirt bikes and go up riding in the mountains. Bailey likes to help get the bikes ready to go! Now if she only had a helmet she could ride.

Helping Mommy knit...

I caught Bailey helping me knit this afternoon. Help might not be the correct word. I left my knitting bag where she could get it and boy did she ever get into it!!! I am still untangling yarn! Some of the yarn is now coated with slobber!
