Road Trip to Mimi's - July 16-19

Grandma Joyce, Grandpa Mike, Bailey and I took a road trip to Lincoln .

Mimi's house is a treasure trove of interesting thing and Bailey had a blast!!

We discovered that she has a musical streak... she liked drumming on the geese with knitting needles. Geese are also really good to ride!
Wagon rides around the back yard with Grandpa. We used LOTS of bug spray but only one or two mosquito bites and no chigger bites. Bailey never stayed up late enough to enjoy the lightening bugs, but I loved watching them.
Mimi lets Bailey do and have anything she wants... that included playing in the bird seed and eating popsicles.

Mimi also had to suffer through cuddling Bailey during afternoon naps... I think it is cute how she is holding Mimi's tummy. she really likes to touch skin when she is relaxing.

It was a great trip even if it was too short! Bailey did amazing well for the 10 hour trip each way. We can't wait to go back!

Fun with Danielle

Danielle came and visited us from June 26 - July 11th.

It was a great time...lots of laughter and smiles.

Bailey LOVED Danielle and followed her around. She was a great helper, she became the bottle maker and the lemonade expert.

Bailey loved being able to wear Danielle's clothes... the bikini was Bailey's favorite. The sweatshirt was second favorite. I think she looks like a little monk.

We miss all of Danielle's help and can't wait for her to come back!

Why we live in Colorado...

Mother Cabrini Shrine -July 4th

We have had Dana's sister and her family here from the 1st-5th. It was great to have Aunt Rene , Uncle Marty and Bailey's cousins Marty and Ken here to play with us. On the 4th we went up to Mother Cabrini shrine in Golden. It is beautiful drive and hike in the mountains. Bailey loved playing in the holy spring water. She always loves water. The little paper cups were really fun to play with too. Aunt Rene was a saint and keep refilling Bailey's glass. Shirts and shoes were soaked by the time we were done.

Rockis Game and Fireworks -July 3rd

Everyone (except Bailey and I) went downtown and to the Rockies game.

It was a night game and past our bedtime so we stayed home and rested!

Family Visit

The WHOLE family went up to visit MawMaw (Dana's mom) at the nursing home.

She was VERY surprised to see all of the family.

While all the adults visited, Bailey rummaged through aunt Rene's purse. It is an exciting treasure trove of normally off-limit items.

Schnurr Vacation - July 1st -5th

Aunt Rene and her family came to visit us!

We spent the first day touring Boulder. The first stop was the Celestial Seasonings tea factory. Bailey loved spending time with Uncle Marty. He loved holding her and spoiling her!

Bailey would point and Uncle Marty would get her what ever she wanted.
Hairnets for everyone! I think it is a good look! This could be the Christmas card of the year!

The second stop was Leaning Tree Art Museum. The outdoor sculpture garden was everyone's favorite. Bailey loved the bear statue... She kept growling at it!

Lunch was at Boulder Brewery! Cold beer and yummy sandwiches with a gorgeous view of the mountains made everyone happy.
