Spring Break in Glennwood Springs

We left Denver at 8:00 am and arrived at the pool at 11:30.

The monkey loved swimming in the warm water.

Swam until 3:00 and then checked into the hotel for naps before dinner.

Ribs for dinner and then more swimming from 6:30 - 8:00.

Night swimming with glow sticks was really fun.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thursday morning we decided to go swimming at the community center pool.

It was warm water, inside (no one got anymore sun!) and had lots of things for the kids to play with.

We left Glenwood at 11:30, drove to Idaho Springs for pizza lunch and arrived home at about 3:30.

It was a great fast trip!!!

 

Spring Break Bus Day!

For Bailey's spring break, we took a special field trip... A bus day!!!

 6 of us rode the public bus downtown then rode the free shuttle up and down the mall.

We read books and played at the bookstore. For lunch, we ate cheesecake first!

The kids thought it was so fun and silly to eat dessert first.

The bus ride home with 3 tired kids wasn't as much fun as the first rides of the morning.

 6 hours of adventure!!!
