Christmas in Kentucky

It is family tradition to celebrate Christmas with Aunt Rene's family while we are out there for Thanksgiving.
Aunt Rene always make sure the Christmas decorations are up.
Cuddling after dinner with cousin Kendo and his wife, Mandy.
 Tickling sissy is always fun!
Passing out presents in front of the tree.
Everyone in the living room having fun.
 Bailey was spoiled ROTTEN!
 Danielle the red nosed sissy!
 Bailey loved opening presents.
All the boys got pajama pants.
Aunt Rene got Bailey a dress up chest.  She got to play with all the clothes.
She is our rag-tag princess.

Thanksgiving Dinner

After a hard day at the track, we had a magnific Thanksgiving feast.
 Uncle Marty fried the turkey.
  Danielle and Aunt Rene cooked.
The babies thought that dinner was too late.
They went to bed before we had even said grace.
It was a great meal and wonderful to be together.
There was a lot of reminicing and story telling about MawMaw... She was greatly missed.

Thanksgiving Day at Churchhill Downs

Thanksgiving Day at the horse track -a family tradition.

We had to get to the track early because Rene & Marty had a horse running in the first race. Bailey, Danielle, Aunt Rene and Uncle Marty all got to go into the paddock to talk with the trainer and jockey before the race. It was a clod morning so everyone was bundled tight.
The #4 horse was ours and he looked good.

Cuddled together in our box.

Aunt Rene and Danielle watching our horse run... He cam in 4th.

Bailey loves her big sissy!

We watched 4 races and the Rene and I took the kids home for naps and to start cooking the feast. All 3 fell asleep on the car ride home so Rene and I drove for almost 2 hours. I got to see parts of town that i never knew existed... They live just a few miles away from a huge women's prison. We had such a great time visiting and talking while everyone slept. I have a great sister-in-law!!!

Picking Winners!

Dana taught Molly how to read the horse racing form.
