Aquarium Play Area

The Denver downtown aquarium restaurant has a play area for the kids.  It has great soft sculptures of sea animals for the kids to play on.  We went there for Bailey's 5th birthday.  We had a good time.

Crawling up the spine of a shark.
Well, you can't get eaten if you are on the top.
Push, Paca, push.  This is one slippery shark.
SUCCESS, look at me, I have him conquered.
In the clutches of an octopus.
Just one small bite and she's...............
Balancing Molly
The birthday girl having a great time crawling, climbing and playing.
CHOMP!! CHOMP!!YUM!!
Now, that's quite a mouthful.
Now, we're food for sharks, or food for thought?
The "Great Flying Lukey"!
Followed by the "Fabulous Flying Bailey"!
And finally, Great Flying Molly.

Mermaid Birthday Lunch

Bailey wanted a swimming princess mermaid birthday party.
As a special surprise, we had lunch at the aquarium.
The mermaid show was a huge hit!!!
The birthday cupcake was also good!
 Mermaid kisses to three kiddos.
Did you see that Bailey?  That was cool.
 Acrobatics  by the mermaid.
Birthday greetings to Bailey from the deep.
 Luke kissing a fish.
Birthday girl, birthday cupcake, and shark crown.  Oh what fun.

Allen wrench

Give Luke an allen wrench and he can dismantle his workbench in a matter of minutes.  Putting it back together though took uncle Ty and a bit more time.  Luke does love tools.

Ice skating

Ice skating at Evergreen Lake.
Bailey really wanted to go ice skating because she knows how to do it from watching Dora on TV.
It was a warm sunny day that was perfect for playing outside.
Molly didn't like it but Bailey had fun.
We spent a lot of time picking them up off the ice.
Lots of laughter and NO TEARS!
