Summer is here!
Summer is here!!!
It has been 80+ here lately so it was time to turn the swamp cooler on.
Unka Ty and Bailey had to climb on the roof and do the hard work!

Hand Foot and Mouth Torture!
Hand-foot-and-mouth disease is a common childhood illness. It causes sores in the mouth and on the hands, feet, and sometimes the buttocks and legs. Mouth sores can be painful and may make it hard for your child to eat. The disease is not serious, and it usually goes away in a week or so.
What the definition fails to mention is the extremely high fever and the irritability that goes with the blisters. Luke started on Friday with a fever of 105 and broke out with head to toe blisters by Saturday afternoon. We finally decided it would be worth a trip to urgent care at 4:30 when he would stop crying. It was diagnosed as "Atypical Hand foot mouth" around 8. It is now spreading through the children. Bailey had a high fever all day Sunday and Monday started blistering. Her mouth and throat are really bad! Molly only has 3 small blisters in her mouth but we know she is about to erupt. It is exciting at our house. The big plus about being sick is we get to eat LOTS of Popsicles on the deck.

Glennwood Springs
Aunt Rene came Saturday April 7th - Thursday April 12th
After all the Easter festivities we decided everyone needed a break...
and there is no better place for relaxing then Glennwood Springs.
We went up Monday morning and stayed until Tuesday afternoon.
The kids all loved the warm water.
Rene was amazed by the size of the pool and how much Luke and Bailey are dare-devils!
