One of the best part of summer in Nebraska is lightening bugs!!!
We let Bailey stay up late and catch them. Bailey and Uncle Ty had a great time!
A plastic jar with holes in the lid is the perfect lightening bug cage.
I love the look of amazement on her face. She was just amazed by the light.
She even got to catch them!!! They are very slow fliers!

Everyone helped catch so that there were at least 20 in her jar. It makes a fun nightlight. I wish we had them in Colorado!!!
